　　Many a time have I turned to my desk-mate for help when I face problems in my study. She was always very patient with me and never made any complaints although they were time-consuming. She said it was not a waste of time helping others, and instead, she could have deeper comprehension of the related knowledge. So helping others will benefit yourself as well.

　　Be ready to provide assistance for others, and others will come to your aid when you are in trouble. 　　去年下半年，我報(bào)了一個(gè)英語(yǔ)班，就在師大清潔隊(duì)的小二層樓上，我上的是三年級(jí)班，我四年級(jí)的幾個(gè)朋友也在那上四年級(jí)班。上了一學(xué)期，覺(jué)得不過(guò)癮。

　　我這學(xué)期跟著好朋友，到他上的英語(yǔ)班去聽(tīng)了一節(jié)課。這個(gè)英語(yǔ)班叫“加特英語(yǔ)”，去了才發(fā)現(xiàn)還有我的'兩個(gè)好朋友也在那里上。老師也是位女老師。班里用的是《新概念英語(yǔ)》（青少版），老師完全用英語(yǔ)講課，還講音標(biāo)。由于是插班，雖然有的聽(tīng)不太懂，但才聽(tīng)了一節(jié)課，我就喜歡上了這個(gè)英語(yǔ)班。

　　這個(gè)英語(yǔ)班課堂氣氛很活躍，很好玩，而且學(xué)音標(biāo)能讓我們學(xué)起單詞的發(fā)音來(lái)更容易、更標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。現(xiàn)在我遇到不認(rèn)識(shí)的單詞能大概拼著讀出來(lái)了呢！

　　課堂上還有小活動(dòng)，不過(guò)每節(jié)課都不一樣，有時(shí)候是翻圖片得分，有時(shí)候是吹瓶子上的撲克，還有時(shí)候是白板上畫(huà)的貓抓老鼠……總而言之，花樣層出不窮。

　　這個(gè)英語(yǔ)班每個(gè)班不超過(guò)十名學(xué)生，是因?yàn)橛械耐瑢W(xué)不來(lái)了，我才插班進(jìn)來(lái)，加上我才九名學(xué)生。每個(gè)星期上兩次課，周四17：00——18：30；周六18：30——20：30。課前課后還有一對(duì)一的檢查與輔導(dǎo)，沒(méi)課的日子還會(huì)有電話輔導(dǎo)。老師還會(huì)給我們發(fā)背書(shū)獎(jiǎng)卡和紀(jì)律獎(jiǎng)卡，獎(jiǎng)卡可以換一些小獎(jiǎng)品，如英語(yǔ)本、鉛芯等。

　　加特英語(yǔ)的目標(biāo)是讓學(xué)生在聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)、唱及情景故事的趣味課堂教學(xué)中做到學(xué)以致用，徹底告別啞巴英語(yǔ)，提高學(xué)生的綜合能力。
