Last Sunday, I went to visit my uncle with my parents by bus. As I just sat down, an aunt with a baby in her arms got on, but there was no more seat for her on the bus.
So I stood up quickly and gave my seat to her. The aunt said with a smile. "You are a nice boy. Thank you very much." The baby looked at me laughing and I was very glad.

記得上二年級(jí)的時(shí)候，學(xué)校開(kāi)辦了英語(yǔ)興趣班。父母一個(gè)勁兒地鼓勵(lì)我報(bào)名，還列舉了許多英語(yǔ)的好處，而我呢，卻是沖著新鮮好奇參加的。想來(lái)不是挺難的事，可學(xué)起來(lái)還真不容易。老師一進(jìn)教室就講了一大堆英語(yǔ)單詞，我一句也聽(tīng)不懂，覺(jué)得沒(méi)趣，上課便開(kāi)起了小差，一連幾堂課老師的提問(wèn)我都答錯(cuò)了，越學(xué)越?jīng)]勁。最讓我難堪的還是期末考試。英語(yǔ)老師把家長(zhǎng)代表請(qǐng)來(lái)與學(xué)生當(dāng)面對(duì)練問(wèn)答。我們家來(lái)的是高級(jí)知識(shí)分子—媽媽，英語(yǔ)可棒了！我怕媽媽知道我的底細(xì)，心想不舉手混過(guò)去，誰(shuí)知老師偏偏向我提問(wèn)，我本來(lái)就沒(méi)學(xué)好，再一緊張，三句話竟答錯(cuò)了兩句，出了洋相，我的臉“刷”地一下就紅了，甭提多難過(guò)了。三年級(jí)英語(yǔ)成了正課，經(jīng)歷過(guò)一次教訓(xùn)的我，這下可不敢馬虎了。上課認(rèn)真聽(tīng)講，積極舉手回答問(wèn)題，同學(xué)們和老師都說(shuō)，我兩個(gè)耳朵像小白兔似的總是豎著聽(tīng)。時(shí)間一長(zhǎng)，漸漸地體會(huì)到了學(xué)英語(yǔ)的樂(lè)趣。自然精神也來(lái)了，學(xué)英語(yǔ)的積極性倍加高漲。
每當(dāng)家里電話鈴響，我拿起電話先喊一聲“Hello"。是同學(xué)，就把學(xué)過(guò)的單詞以及句子連起來(lái)搞一次對(duì)話練習(xí)，既是復(fù)習(xí)，又有提高，一舉兩得，真過(guò)癮。如果是大人打的電話，那就更好了，不但練習(xí)了對(duì)話，還可以在我接不上的時(shí)候讓人家教我兩句。當(dāng)然更多的`人說(shuō)不來(lái)英語(yǔ)，我就取笑對(duì)方，一個(gè)勁地說(shuō)學(xué)過(guò)的那幾句英語(yǔ)，直到對(duì)方莫名其妙地反應(yīng)過(guò)來(lái)問(wèn)：“你爸在不？”我才講中文。由于對(duì)方聽(tīng)不懂，所以爸爸接過(guò)電話，聽(tīng)到的總是對(duì)方的表?yè)P(yáng)：“你女兒真不簡(jiǎn)單，還會(huì)說(shuō)英語(yǔ)�！泵慨�(dāng)這時(shí)，我心中總是樂(lè)滋滋的，他們哪知我這個(gè)才人門的小家伙只懂一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)皮毛。最讓我得意的還是有一次到四川聯(lián)合大學(xué)與大學(xué)生玩耍，他們用英語(yǔ)與我對(duì)話，我才說(shuō)兩句，他們就夸我音讀得準(zhǔn)。我一高興，便搬出了我所有的家底，還用英語(yǔ)向他們提問(wèn)，三個(gè)大學(xué)生連連夸我是個(gè)學(xué)英語(yǔ)的好苗子，我更加得意了。一個(gè)周末，我興沖沖地走進(jìn)濱江公園英語(yǔ)角，想跟“老外”對(duì)話，誰(shuí)知站在“老外”身邊，人都傻了，除少數(shù)單詞以外，一句話也聽(tīng)不懂。這時(shí)的我才真正有無(wú)地自容的感覺(jué)。

I get up early at six every day. After doing some morning exercises I read English for twenty minutes. At seven I have breakfast. After breakfast I take my Painter's paraphernalia and go to Sketches.
Our drawing pictures begin at eight and we have one pictures in the morning. After lunch at 12 o’clock I take a short rest in the room. We have two pictures in the afternoon. After school at five I go back room. After dinner I begin to do my pictures. Then I take a shower. I go to bed at nine thirty.

My hometown is located in a mountainous area and we will certainly not miss mountain-climbing during the holiday. The mountains here are all covered with trees of different kinds and are worth touring. There is no doubt that we’ll have a real picnic there.
After that, we can go fishing and swimming in a river, which is not far away from my home. It would be very delightful to sit at a tranquil country river bank with our feet dangling into the cool water in such hot summer days.
