“叮咚，叮咚”門(mén)鈴響了，我去開(kāi)門(mén)，只見(jiàn)是爺爺。他滿(mǎn)頭大汗，手里捧著一本英語(yǔ)書(shū)，奶奶見(jiàn)了，嫌棄的說(shuō)： “你這老頭，說(shuō)要出去買(mǎi)東西，沒(méi)想到買(mǎi)來(lái)一本英語(yǔ)書(shū)……”還好有媽媽來(lái)解圍。要不然，一場(chǎng)口水大戰(zhàn)就要開(kāi)始了。
爺爺走到我面前，用請(qǐng)求的`語(yǔ)氣對(duì)我說(shuō)：“孫女，你能不能教教我英語(yǔ)？”看著爺爺那忠誠(chéng)的眼神，我無(wú)可奈何地對(duì)爺爺說(shuō)：“好吧 ！讓我先考一考您的基本功吧！”我拿出一張英語(yǔ)四線紙，寫(xiě)出前幾個(gè)英語(yǔ)字母，后面的請(qǐng)爺爺寫(xiě)。爺爺看了看，胸有成竹的對(duì)我說(shuō)：“孫女，你是不是小看我了？雖然我已經(jīng)87歲了，但A B C D這些我都記得一清二楚，看我的吧！”果然，不到一會(huì)兒，爺爺就寫(xiě)完了，他把那張紙交給我，我打眼一看，全錯(cuò)！我失落地對(duì)爺爺說(shuō)：“爺爺，看來(lái)你必須從基礎(chǔ)開(kāi)始了！”我從倉(cāng)庫(kù)里拿出一個(gè)白板和一支記號(hào)筆。開(kāi)始從“零”開(kāi)始。
