每天清晨，我都會(huì)被爺爺那嘰哩呱啦的英語(yǔ)聲給吵醒。你肯定會(huì)疑惑不解，告訴你吧，我爺爺隨著奧運(yùn)會(huì)的一天天臨近，竟然每天早上五點(diǎn)多鐘就開(kāi)始學(xué)英語(yǔ)了。
爺爺常說(shuō)："奧運(yùn)會(huì)是我們中國(guó)人的驕傲。"到時(shí)肯定會(huì)有許多外國(guó)人來(lái)我們張家港觀光旅游。如果走在大街上老外問(wèn)咱們問(wèn)題，咱們聽(tīng)不懂，也不知道怎么說(shuō)，肯定會(huì)讓他們笑話的。于是，爺爺就去"歐亞"報(bào)了個(gè)老年英語(yǔ)培訓(xùn)班。由于爺爺?shù)挠⒄Z(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)很差，學(xué)起來(lái)就特別的困難，再加上爺爺?shù)囊粋�(gè)門牙也掉了，發(fā)起音來(lái)更是費(fèi)勁，而且還要鬧笑話。雖然有這么多困難，但是爺爺很堅(jiān)持，天天抱著復(fù)讀機(jī)聽(tīng)個(gè)不停，還樂(lè)此不疲。
為了把英語(yǔ)學(xué)好，爺爺要求我和他用英語(yǔ)互相問(wèn)候和對(duì)話。比如：每天早上他看到我起床就說(shuō)一聲："Goodmorning（早上好）！"下午放學(xué)回家就說(shuō)："Goodafternoon（下午好）！"等簡(jiǎn)單的句子。有一次，我給爺爺?shù)沽吮�，他連忙說(shuō)："Thankyou（謝謝）！"結(jié)果說(shuō)成了"坦克油"，把我逗的捧腹大笑，差點(diǎn)把剛喝的水給噴了出來(lái)。在一旁吃飯的老爸更是笑得前俯后仰。奶奶也一邊笑一邊拍打著爺爺說(shuō)："老頭子，你都這么大年紀(jì)了，普通話都說(shuō)不標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，還學(xué)英語(yǔ)呢，哈哈哈——"。爺爺故作鎮(zhèn)定的說(shuō)："這有什么好笑的，不就是把音讀的重了一點(diǎn)嘛！"我連忙告訴爺爺說(shuō)："爺爺，如果你把音讀重了，就有可能變成另外一個(gè)意思，那樣的話，外國(guó)人就有可能理解錯(cuò)誤的。"爺爺聽(tīng)了迫不及待的讓我教他，我耐心的一遍又一遍教他發(fā)音。雖然他的發(fā)音還是不怎么標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，可他堅(jiān)持不懈的精神值得我們?nèi)胰速潎@。
爺爺身體不太好，還有糖尿病，醫(yī)生叮囑過(guò)爺爺要保證睡眠的充足，可爺爺為了學(xué)好英語(yǔ)，晚上仍然堅(jiān)持去上老年英語(yǔ)培訓(xùn)班。爸爸也曾勸他多休息，擔(dān)心過(guò)分的勞累會(huì)影響他的身體。但他堅(jiān)定的對(duì)我們?nèi)胰苏f(shuō)："為了北京的奧運(yùn)，再大的困難也要堅(jiān)持！"
