It is near a hill. There are many big trees、beautiful flowers and nice food.
There is a shopping mall in the centre of the town.There are many shops in the shopping mall.Such as: clothes shops 、shoe shops、sports shops and KFC.It also has a park.You can go walking there .You can see green trees and lakes ,too.
There is little air pollution,because cars can't go into the centre of the town.
Peple here are very friendly and helpful .
I think my home town is a wonderful place to live.

今天下午要上英語(yǔ)課時(shí)，老師在黑板上寫了一組英語(yǔ)單詞是“raining cat sand dogs”,讓我們講一講它的意思。我低下頭思索著：cats,dogs是“貓”和“狗”的復(fù)數(shù)形式，表示“許多貓”和“許多狗”，raining是“雨”的意思。合起來(lái)是什么呢？我正在冥思苦想，有同學(xué)舉起說(shuō)說(shuō)：“天上掉下來(lái)很多貓和狗。”頓時(shí)教室里的同學(xué)們哄堂大笑起來(lái)，互相交頭接耳，都在討論這個(gè)詞語(yǔ)的意思，最后還是老師解開(kāi)了謎團(tuán)。老師說(shuō)：“同學(xué)們英語(yǔ)學(xué)得還可以，記住了每個(gè)單詞的含義�！边@幾個(gè)單詞合起來(lái)的意思是傾盆大雨。英語(yǔ)和漢語(yǔ)一樣，一些單詞和單詞組合起來(lái)有特殊的含義、固定的`用法，就像漢語(yǔ)的成語(yǔ)、諺語(yǔ)似的。剛才老師說(shuō)的這幾個(gè)單詞合起來(lái)，就不是單個(gè)兒的意思了，而是“傾盆大雨”的意思。
