friendship
friendship is one of the greatest pleasure that people can enjoy. it implies(意味著) loyalty(忠誠(chéng)), cordiality(熱誠(chéng)), sympathy(同情心), affection and readiness(愿意) to help. real friends are those who can share all our sorrows(傷心事) and double all our joys. no man makes most of his life, either in business or in society, without carefully and conscientiously(憑良心地) striving(奮斗)to win the right kind of friends as he goes along.
true friends cherish(珍愛(ài)) the ideals(理想) and feelings with you; they will not desert(荒蕪的) you when you are in hot waters; they will not flatter(諂媚) or take advantage of you when you have won victory; and they will advice you sincerely when you are led astray(迷路的.).
we should choose those as our friends who have good character, superior(較高的) ability and kindliness(友好) of heart. we’ll treat our friends with courtesy(禮貌), be careful not to interfere(沖突) unreasonably(非理智的) with them, or not ridicule(嘲笑) their proceedings. we should forgive their mistakes and try to help them as much as possible. if we try to do these things, we’ll retain our friends and keep the sacred(神圣的) lamp(燈火) of friendship burning all our life.

I have many hobbies, such as swimming, running, and listening to music, collecting stamps and reading. Reading is my favorite hobby.
In my childhood, my parents bought me lots of books. Every day before I went to bed, my mom always told me one story. Those stories eiched my life.
As I grew up, I can read by myself. Consequently, reading books becomes my favorite hobby.
I like reading books for three reasons. First of all, I think a good book is my faithful friend. It can increase my happiness when I am cheerful and happy; and it can lessen my pain when I am sad or lonely. Secondly reading books can widen my sights, improve my skills and make me wise. Further more, reading leads me to achieve my goal as a bridge. In order to succeed in my new career in the future, I must keep reading, thinking and practicing.
Reading has become a part of my life. I spend some time reading during the week. It doesn’t take much time but it’s important in my life. Without reading, my life would be terribly plain and boring. I want to have a good hobby which can eich my life and it’s an outlet for my emotions. I am sure I will keep reading as my lifelong hobby and enjoy it forever.

Extreme sports, consisting of bungee, roller skating, parkour, surfing, skateboarding, water-skiing, rock climbing, demand high-tech, great energy and extraordinary courage. Sometimes I wonder why a great number of people are fascinated about such difficult and dangerous sports at the risk of hurting themselves. As for the suggestions that extreme sports be banned, should they be accepted and implemented or not?
Finally, I know it is the superior difficulty, excitation and contentment after finishing these sports that make people fascinated about extreme sports. People escape from busy work, study and life to challenge and release. Not only do they strengthen their bodies but they get entertainment and bravery. Most importantly, they are much closer to the nature and have new experience towards life. So if you are energetic and brave enough, why not have a try?
