書信我們分為兩部分：信封和內(nèi)容。
1、信封的寫法。
英語(yǔ)信封正面的左上角，寫發(fā)信人的姓名和地址。在信封的正面中央偏左一點(diǎn)，寫收信人的地址和姓名。
英語(yǔ)信封上的地點(diǎn)名稱由小到大，視其長(zhǎng)短可占二至五行不等。
寄信人只寫姓名，不寫頭銜。但是，收信人一般都在名字前加上頭銜，以示禮貌和尊敬。對(duì)于沒有官銜和學(xué)銜的人士，通常在姓名前寫上Mr., Mrs.,或Ms.。
信封的寫法，一般來說，很少出現(xiàn)在中考英語(yǔ)的作文中。
2、內(nèi)容。
英文信一般可以分為下列幾個(gè)部分。
1)信端(Heading)即寫信人的地址和發(fā)信日期。
2)收信人姓名地址
3)稱呼
4)信的'正文
5)結(jié)束語(yǔ)
6)簽名
有的時(shí)候，出題者會(huì)讓考生寫e-mail。e-mail的寫法和書信的寫法基本一致。只不過少了書信在信封上的繁瑣。
