今天，可是一個(gè)大日子，英語(yǔ)期中考!我最害怕的就是英語(yǔ)這科了，成績(jī)總是上不去，從四年級(jí)開始，我的英語(yǔ)成績(jī)都是八十幾分，我一看見(jiàn)“八”這個(gè)字就覺(jué)得很反感，就很不開心，總是看起來(lái)不順眼，今天，真是人生的坎坷啊!我會(huì)不會(huì)掉陷阱吶?
我很早就來(lái)到學(xué)校，拿出英語(yǔ)書沒(méi)多久，班主任就來(lái)監(jiān)考了。我真是大吃一驚，連給我們復(fù)習(xí)的時(shí)間都沒(méi)有，豈不是考好的概率很低?“早點(diǎn)來(lái)，是因?yàn)橐喚硎昼?”黃老師說(shuō)，原來(lái)是這樣，要閱卷的啊!
開始發(fā)卷子了，我仔細(xì)看著每一題，心中突然暗喜：啊，就這幾題啊，簡(jiǎn)單簡(jiǎn)單!我笑嘻嘻的，又有一張筆試部分的卷子，我又看了看，哈哈，就這樣啊，簡(jiǎn)單簡(jiǎn)單!
開始考了，我的耳朵像兔子的耳朵一樣，兩只耳朵豎了起來(lái)，一頂?shù)寐牭靡粋�(gè)字母不漏，這樣才能做到效率高，寫得快啊!開始啦，我輕松自在地寫著，直到第四題，我有難了!聽力的錄音好快啊，我一個(gè)字也沒(méi)聽清，勉強(qiáng)做了三題，又一次，我還是似懂非懂，只好靠自己昨天的復(fù)習(xí)能力啦，我開始推理，開始排除，開始使用進(jìn)去讀，哈!這題終于解了，看似不難，其實(shí)很難!
聽力部分結(jié)束，看讀寫部分啦，選擇題都是找關(guān)鍵詞，還好昨天有聽講，不然選擇題就是一道陷阱，我哇哇哇地找坑跳呢!然后是判斷對(duì)錯(cuò)，哈哈，短文很簡(jiǎn)單，是課內(nèi)的，我一下子就做完啦。還有一張卷子，是課外的閱讀短文，我瞄了瞄同桌的，我的'同桌是英語(yǔ)大師，做得很快的喲!誰(shuí)也比不過(guò)，就算神仙下凡也得思想一陣子!我開始認(rèn)真起來(lái)，終于，課外閱讀做完了，現(xiàn)在迎接的是最難的一題：“制作周末計(jì)劃”，要用英語(yǔ)表達(dá)，還有幾些關(guān)鍵詞哦!我想了一陣子，就開始寫了，很快，我寫完了，又瞄了瞄我的好同桌試卷，哇塞!她寫得真夠多啊，不愧是英語(yǔ)大師啊!
結(jié)束了，我真心希望能考好，以后要認(rèn)真聽講啦，就不會(huì)有這么多的坎坷和陷阱了!

We have to use dictionaries properly and we needn’t look up every word in the dictionaries.Sometimes we havt to guess the meaning out according to the context.

the water of the dead sea contains about 250 parts of salt to every thousand parts of water, or 25% by weight. it is so salty that it is difficult to swim or dive, as your body floats on the surface. what has made this lake so salty? the minerals are partly supplied by hundreds of natural springs which flow into the dead sea, and partly by the river jordan. it is called the dead sea because very few things can live in such salty water. there is very little rain here, merely 60mm in a year on average.
the minerals stay in the lake, because there is no river flowing out of the lake.
