　　My English teacher is a handsome man, his first name is Xiao, he is my favorite teacher. Mr. xiao likes English very much, and he makes speaking English fun. He wears glasses and he looks friendly but a little serious. He is of medium height and of medium build. I think he makes me good at English. He works hard, and always helps me with my Engish. With his help, my pronunciation has really improved . So, I want to say “Thank you” to him .

　　為提高孩子們英語水平，檢驗近期英語學習情況，進一步培養(yǎng)學生的英語綜合運用能力，營造英語文化氛圍，7月28日，山東理工大學“紅色之旅”實踐團于菏澤市牡丹區(qū)趙樓社區(qū)支教基地舉行英語作文比賽。

　　此次比賽本著“人人參與”的原則，在初中三個年級中進行。以《My holidy》（我的假期）為題，學生們現(xiàn)場發(fā)揮，在30分鐘的時間內(nèi)寫出一篇100詞作文。比賽過程中，參賽選手胸有成竹，屏氣凝神，嚴格遵守比賽規(guī)則，表現(xiàn)出優(yōu)秀的參賽風格。全部同學在規(guī)定時間內(nèi)完成，甚至有幾位同學提前做完，顯示出同學們對英語的有效掌握。學生作文水平雖顯稚嫩，但從單詞、句子的運用，到語法篇章的安排，都顯示出了英語教學有了明顯的`進步，這是同學們勤學英語的結(jié)果，也是每位實踐隊員辛勤教學的結(jié)果。最終，趙芳同學脫穎而出榮獲一等獎，劉涵、趙紫、趙偉等分獲二、三等獎，隊員們?yōu)槠漕C發(fā)獎狀、獎品，以資鼓勵。賽后，實踐團將同學們的作品在櫥窗中展示，以供大家交流學習。同學們表示今后一定再接再厲，學好英語。隊員們鼓勵大家在日常生活中也要勤學勤用，在實踐中探索英語的奧秘。

　　此次比賽有力調(diào)動起同學們學習英語的積極性，提高了對英語的實用能力，提高了學生英語讀寫能力。據(jù)悉，此類活動還將繼續(xù)開展，為學生創(chuàng)設(shè)運用英語寫作展示的平臺。
