With the gloomy prospect of returning to school, many students could suffer from post-holiday syndrome, which refers to a general feeling of depression before returning to campus life, which is caused by irregular lifestyles during the holiday. Symptoms include fatigue, lack of appetite and concentration, irritability and a feeling of helplessness.
Various reasons can account for it. But most important of all, a large number of students tend to overindulge themselves in eating, merrymaking and playing around during the holidays, which makes it difficult to adjust to their routine study schedule and life pace on the campus.
My suggestions to deal with this syndrome are as follows. First, exercising and sticking to a normal schedule over the holidays will make a difference and nip post-holiday syndrome in the bud. Besides, it pays to return a few days earlier before the semester starts. The early return seems to have kept the holiday blues at bay.

The drought in the south-west China has lasts for several months, which makes people face water and food scarcity. We should learn lessons from it.
The drought can be cause by several factors. Firstly, about 63 percent of cities in China are facing water scarcity. The situation is worsened by pollution and industrialization. In addition, too many trees have been cut down, so forest cove rage has been decreasing rapidly. What's more, some water conservation projects haven't been functioning properly, thus people there have had to rely more heavily on rainfall for their water supply. Most of China's irrigation systems are very old.
In order to prevent this case coming about again, we should improve our awareness of saving water, making proper use of water and recycling water. Meanwhile, we ought to plant more trees and protect environment to prevent loss of water and soil erosion. Of course, the governments should increase investment and repair water conservation projects as timely as possible.

Why? You may ask. The answer lies in two aspects, his words and his achievements. He always boasts himself to be an extraordinary man, reaching up to the so called "fourth" level that only A. He says when he was only 15 he could see through the sophisticated society, he could tell the true meaning of life which had puzzled generations of philosophers, he could understand the universe and the essence of natural laws, and he could, in his words, "feel" the world, or to be more exact, "perceive" the world. And he also feels that as time goes by, with increasing association with the numb and blunt, his intuition and wisdom are fading
Words are not that terrible. See what he has done. He neyer stays clear minded in class, and seldom finishes assigned homework, but was able to win a second prize in the national 0lympic contest of biology and achieve pretty high score in the NMET without hard work.
