　　今天，一年一度的英語節(jié)在培德樓上的六樓報告大廳如火如荼的舉行了。

　　為了今天，我以前可是大下功夫，又是寫稿子，又是讓媽媽幫我認識新單詞，又是自己背稿子，終于等到了今天。

　　我自信滿滿的走進大廳。媽呀！嚇死我了！這里居然聚集著這么多人。有五年級學生、老師、各年級的英語老師。嗯？還有兩個老外！看來，我今天得好好表現了，為自己、為班級而爭光。

　　比賽開始了，我是28號，也就是最后一名，我感受到我的心就像一個調皮的小精靈一樣，跳得七上八下的——好緊張。該我了，我走上臺，感到腿有點發(fā)軟，好像馬上就要癱在地上了一樣；手有一點發(fā)顫，好像馬上就要把話筒掉在地上一樣。當我看見兩位老外在默默地為我鼓掌時，我便又鼓起勇氣，繼續(xù)往下背。我的腿不再發(fā)軟了，我的.手也不再發(fā)顫了，我的精神又飽滿起來。

　　因為我有一點拘謹，所以只得了二等獎。我很失望，因為我原來可以得到更高的分數，但我依然很開心，因為我體驗到了我以前從來沒有體驗過的感受，還受到了一個使我一生受益的啟發(fā)：只要有付出，就一定有回報。

　　英語是世界通用的語言，所以我一定要學好英語。長大為祖國增光添彩。

　　I will have a seven-day holiday next week. In these days, I have many things to do. First, I must finish the exercises left by teachers, Chinese, math and English. It may take me two days to finish. I plan finish them in the first and second day.

　　And then, I will go to see my grandparents with mom and dad. I miss them very much. So do they. I will stay there for three days. The last two days, I want to have a good rest or play with my friends. It’s my own time, so that I want to spend it with my friends.

　　A fair society must take special care of the poor,the sick,the young and the old ,because they can‘t earn much money like others.But they belong to human being.Their lives must be protected by the society .So the modern society must build a Social Welfare System to help them .The system is different from the one that “recompense is made according to the amoumt of labour expended”.The system ensure everyone must get the lowest base of food,medical service,house,clothes and so on.If a country is more developed ,its Social welfare system must be better .
