　　The cartoon reflects an interesting and usual respect of daily life. However, from a deeper perspectives, it also reveals the gradual loss of traditional culture in modern society. What exactly contribute to this phenomenon ? Possible reasons could be listed as follows: for one thing, quite a few people, especially youngsters, hold that Chinese traditional culture is out-dated and of little use in modern society. Perhaps, from their perspective, traditional culture form the distant past can hardly adapt to or keep pace with the ever-changing new world. An individual or nation showing no respect to the essence of traditional culture cannot be expected to develop and be stronger. Hence, something could and should be done to reverse the inexorable decline in the emphasis of Chinese traditional culture.
