here is a picture of a tall cylinder with three holes under thefaucet. the water keeps running from the faucet through the water tap into the cylinder. as there are three holes in it, the cylinder can never be filled and keeps leaking water.
from the way water is corning out of the holes we can see pressure increases with depth.let us look at the first hole on the top. as the hole is very near to the surface of water, the pressure at the top is not as high as that in the middle and at the bottom. the water is coming out of the hole at an angle of 30 degrees. it fails to the ground at a distance not far from the cylinder.
now please have a look at the hole in the middle. the hole is farther away from the surface of the water. here the water is deeper and so is the pressure. as a result the falling water comes down with more force at an angle of 45 degrees.last and not least, i would like to call your attention to the hole at the bottom. as it is deep at the bottom, the water receives the moist pressure. the force of water coming out of the hole is strongest and it springs out at an angle of nearly 170 degrees falling down far away from the cylinder.
now it is clear to me why man achieves success under great pressure, my dear friends, do not bo afraid of pressuro. the more pressute, the more chance of success.

范文
With more and more cars coming into our families, we are happy that it has greatly improved our life. But unluckily, it has also brought many problems, such as heavy traffic and traffic accidents.
Traffic safety is everybody's business. We must obey the rules. For example, we must walk on walk side, when we cross zebra – crossing, stop and look right and left, then go across fast. Don’t play football on the road .we can tell our parents not to drink before they drive, not to run through red lights, not to talk and laugh while driving etc.
We can say cars are coming into our life, but only when everybody thinks traffic safety is everybody's business can we be safe driving on roads and walking on sidewalks.
Wuhan in my eyes Every time the word Wuhan comes into my eyes, I can’t help think of the friendly Wuhanese. Having traveled throughout China, Wuhanese is among the very few who are friendly to persons from elsewhere. This is quite different from that in Beijing and Shanghai where if you are not a local, you are sure to be discriminated. On the mind of the Beijingese and Shanghaiese, they are the masters of China. Anyone, whoever he is, Cantonese, Sichuanese, or Hunanese, he is a peasant in the eyes of the Beijingese and Shanghaiese. So people from all over China visit Beijing and Shanghai only to find themselves lower classes than they once think. But this doesn’t happen in Wuhan. I once studied the reason why the Wuhanese is tolerant to outlanders and the results come as follows.
a.Wuhan has always been a center in China, where people come and go very often. This can be traced back to the 1st century when it was the time of Three Kingdoms. Anyone who read the novel Three Kingdoms can remember at that time, Wuhan was an economic and communication center of China. It was once a fortress which all the three kingdoms, Kingdom Wei, Shu and Wu expected to occupy. So many wars happened there. The well-known Chibi War happened very close to Wuhan, about 100 kilometers away, southwest. And because of the well-developed agriculture there, the Jianghan Plain was praised to be a barn. People all over the country went there, buying and selling. Business was done day and night, which attracted more people there for profit. This helped the communication between people of different places and Wuhan. When this communication is established, the acceptance of outlanders was fixed in the heart of the locals. Wuhanese in most part don’t take outlanders as outlanders. They accept them as part of the locals. So despite that Wuhan in many eyes is a southern city in China, the people there speak with northern accent and Hubei dialect belongs to the northern dialects of China. Of course, this derives from the communication of people from the north. It is also a proof that Wuhan is a place which once had a lot of northerners.
b.Wuhan was once an economical center of China, but in the past century, it was more an industrial center in China. Since the second half of the 19th century, in the years of 60s, the governor of Hubei was the well-known reformer Zhang Zhidong, who was one of the advocators of the reformers in the late Qing Dynasty. Under his initiation, Wuhan became an industrial centre of China. The well-known Hanyang Steel and Iron works was established there. It is one of the first modern industry works in China. A well-known product of it is the Hanyang rifle which adopted Deutch technology. In the coming decades, the Hanyang rifle was the best rifle made in China. Later, Governor Zhang introduced more investments from abroad and set up more modern factories in Wuhan. This also attracted a lot of people from around China to Wuhan, where they did business. But this is not the biggest effect. The biggest is that in Wuhan appeared the first batch of modern industrial workers in China. Before this, China never had modern industrial workers. The workers in then China were most handycraft industry workers who were different from modern industrial workers. A difference between the two kinds of workers is that the modern ones had fewer local ideas for they came from different parts of China. A skilled modern industrial worker might work in this factory today, but it's very possible that he works in another factory tommorrow for there he is better paid. So the fluidity of workers is more often than the handycraft workers who don't change their jobs much. This fluidity brought more tolerance to the outlanders. As this tolerance is inherited, and passed down from generation to generation, it became part of the character of the Wuhanese.
c.The last reason is that Wuhan has always been an educational center in China. Governor Zhang Zhidong established the first modern college in Hubei, which later developed into the well-known Wuhan University. Since then a lot of youth from Hubei, Hunan, Henan, Anhui and other parts of China enrolled themselves in this university. And after that more universities were established there. In the first 50 years of 20th century, Wuhan became one of the education centers following Beijing, Shanghai, and Nanjing in China. It is now enjoying the same educational status as it did 50 years ago. Universities brought many students from all corners of China to Wuhan, and it helps the communication between the Wuhanese and the outlanders.
In one word, Wuhan is the most tolerant city to outlanders. And most Wuhanese are generous, and easy-going. If you hope to develop your business, Wuhan is a good place.

There is a saying said that don't give up forever. When I was a child,my teachers often told that don't give up,and the hope was always there.
Whenever we meet with a problem, however hard the problem is,we shouldn't stop our work.We must have a faith that the most beautiful view will come in after the most high hill. There are also many examples, such as Zhang Haidi,Zheng ZHihua,Helen Keller and so on,they all had a bad life, but they all successed by their efforts.
In a word,if we have dreams,we should do our best to come true our dreams,we shouldn't give up!
To solve this problem, first, we should establish a monitoring and feedback mechanism to keep environmental protection on the right track. Second, we should amend relevant rules and regulations. Third, we must observe these rules and regulations. Only in these ways can we have a brilliant future and maintain a sustainable development.
To solve this problem, it is important for the central authority to establish a monitoring and feedback mechanism to keep environmental protection on the right track. For another thing, the departments concerned are expected to amend relevant rules or regulations. As for the tourists, they must be required to observe such rules or regulations. If we can identify the cause of the problem, we can certainly find its cure.
、 The central authority is supposed to +動詞 …
、 The governmental departments at local levels are obliged to +動詞 …
、 It is important for the general public to +動詞 …
、 It is essential that journalists +
⑤ Journalists are expected to play their role in this issue: their task is to +動詞 …
、 As for the youth, they are supposed to extend a helping hand and treat other people with sincerity.
② As for the youth, they are supposed to think independently and cultivate their analytical and problem solving abilities.
、 As for the youth, they are supposed to take on challenges, keep grace under pressure, but most important of all, strive for a goal.
、 As for the youth, they are supposed to shoulder responsibility rather than shift it to other people.
、 As for the youth, they are supposed to observe relevant rules and regulations. The best philosophy is to learn self-control.
、 To sum up, this issue is so complicated that it seems in vain to seek simple solutions to it. Above all, it is people’s actions that count for the most in this issue.
、 To sum up, it is important to take all aspects into consideration and attach each of them due weight.
、 Anyway, in view of the complexity of this issue, it is essential that we treat it from social, economical and cultural perspectives.
、 In a word, if we treat this issue with sincerity and enthusiasm, a brilliant future will be waiting for us.
、 If we can identify the cause of the problem, we can find its cure.
To advocate the spirit of mutual support in our society, it is important for journalists to make clear the importance of mutual support in people’s daily life. In this way, citizens can treat this issue positively. As for the youth, they are supposed to extend a helping hand and treat others with sincerity. After all, it is people’s actions and attitudes that count for the most in this issue.
In the hot summer days, mother still packed the house every day, and the floor was spotless.
This morning, when my mother was dragging the mop with a mop, I rushed to help my mother to drag the floor together. I'll mop washing, then wring dry hands and began mopping mop leaning. At first I didn't push mop misgave me, not drag. Mother smiled and said, "cocoa, you are still small, not enough force, or mother to drag it," I said incongrously, "Mom, don't look down on me." I pulled out the floor of the living room through my strength. Looking at the bright floor, tired sweating and panting me, my heart suddenly opened flowers.
I want to start cleaning my own small study. First, I put all the homework books on the table to one side, then wiped the desk with a rag, and a lot of rubber crumbs! I found a few small corners dirty, I think maybe the mother is too big to squeeze in, I use my little body to squeeze into the corner, wipe the dead ends with rag. Looking at the neat study, the clean floor, I was happy to laugh.
While doing housework is very tired, it is also a very happy thing.
How People Spend Their Holidays
As is clearly shown in the table that there was a dramatic change in the way people spent their holidays between 1990 and 20xx. Especially, in 1990, 63% of people spent their holidays at home, while the figure decreased considerably to 24% in 20xx. there are three reasons for this phenomenon.
To begin with, with the development of market-oriented economy, people earn by far more money than they used to, making it possible for them to afford traveling expenses. In addition, people realize the importance of getting well-informed about the outside world in this modern era to develop their potential. For example, a traveller may encounter or talk with someone of a different cultural background so as to broaden his vision. Last but not least, by traveling outside, people are close to nature, which is not only beneficial to both their health and peace of mind. In short, more and more people take the occasion of holiday to travel outside and relax themselves.
As far as I am concerned, I prefer to go traveling instead of staying at home during holidays. On the one hand, I love meeting different people and take in some fresh ideas. On the other hand, it is agreed that the world is becoming a global village. No one could confine himself within his small circle of families or relatives. In brief, I have benefited a lot and will benefit more from traveling during the holidays.
In modern society, young people prefer to stay apart from their parents and live alone in a metropolis. Further, they have a tendency of postponing their parenthood until late 30’s or even early 40’s. This trend may involve some factors and the most rooted one can be modern urbanized lifestyle which features high level of mobility and instability of economic situation. In addition, young people facing enormous competition and stress at workplace, have to focus on their jobs and therefor have little time for their families. Obviously under such circumstance, committing to a serious relationship or starting a family, which means tremendous responsibility and dedication, is not a preferable choice. Also the extended family is no longer a realistic option and is replaced by the nuclear one. The cost increase of raising a child is another barrier to late parenthood, and this is especially obvious in major cities around the world. This change of lifestyle can have some negative effects on inpiduals and the society as a whole. Firstly low birthrates can result in an ageing population and a lack of labor force in the future. Medical care service will be in high demand and medical cost will rise significantly. Living alone without long term and stable relationships is widely thought to be associated with personal sense of happiness, which would reduce an inpidual’s general satisfaction with life, but increase the sense of isolation. Traditionally, cultures and values are passed on in family daily life. However, in modern cities, the young generation living away from the older one have little chance to learn any from their parents. Instead, they are being assimilated by globally popular cultures.
