　　Yesterday was my birthday， so some of my classmates sent me presents。 Mother prepared a tea party for me。 I invited all of them to come and take part in it。The tea party began at half past six。

　　There were cold drinks and refreshments。 We ate， talked and laughed。 We felt that we were the happiest men in the world。Time passed quickly。 In a twinkling， the clock on the wall struck nine。

　　We could not but say “Good—bye” to one another。

　　有一次，丁老師教我們認(rèn)識(shí)有關(guān)“顏色”的`單詞。老師教我們讀了幾遍之后，她拿出黑色的卡片問：“這是什么顏色的？”我們異口同聲地說：”Purple”.“再想想。”丁老師有點(diǎn)生氣了。我們又說：“Brown�！边@時(shí)，丁老師就像一只發(fā)怒的獅子，朝我們怒吼道“什么？”我們聽了不禁伸了伸舌頭。

　　丁老師也有有趣的一面。有一回，老師讓一個(gè)男同學(xué)讀一遍黑板上的單詞，那位同學(xué)說話聲音很小，丁老師說：“聲音大點(diǎn)，男子漢嘛！”那位同學(xué)還是那樣小聲，丁老師說了兩三遍，他的音量還是提不大。丁老師風(fēng)趣地說：“老兄，求求你聲音大點(diǎn)。”我們笑得前俯后仰，那位同學(xué)也不好意思地低下了頭。

　　丁老師就是這樣一位既嚴(yán)格又風(fēng)趣的老師。
