　　2月2日下午，我要參加阿斯頓英語學(xué)校舉行的口語演講比賽的總決賽。雖然我并沒有任何壓力，可媽媽卻認(rèn)為，進入決賽的同學(xué)們都是水平很高的，他們的英語口語非常好，你學(xué)英語起步晚，平時在家又沒怎么練，對名次、獎勵什么的別抱太大期望，重在參與就好。

　　聽了媽媽的這番話，我并沒有往心里去，而是繼續(xù)認(rèn)真的背誦演講稿，心想，我一定要得獎。

　　時間不知不覺的來到了這一天，我心里多少也沒底，因為并不知道其他參賽選手的實力如何。不過，我對自己還是有信心的`，希望自己能取得一個不錯的成績。

　　那天下午，我早早的來到了比賽場地。發(fā)現(xiàn)來了的同學(xué)們都在認(rèn)真的看自己的演講稿，我找到一個比較靠前的座位，邊看演講稿，邊等待比賽的開始。

　　兩點整，比賽正式開始。主持人Vivian宣讀了比賽規(guī)則以及評分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。然后讓我們到評委席去抽簽決定比賽順序。我本以為自己能抽到中間的位置，沒想到竟然抽了個第二�？磥淼煤煤冒l(fā)揮了。

　　很快就輪到我了，我從老師的手中接過話筒，走上舞臺，先鞠了一躬。之后稍作停頓，開始了演講。我演講的內(nèi)容是介紹我的學(xué)校生活，就像在家里無數(shù)次練習(xí)的那樣，內(nèi)容早已背誦的滾瓜爛熟，我并不感到緊張。只是，中途不知為什么，話筒好像出了問題，時好時壞，使大家聽到的聲音是斷斷續(xù)續(xù)的。我沒有被這個小問題干擾到，努力大聲地演講，等話筒一好就稍稍減弱聲音。這樣，大家并沒有聽出聲音有什么變化。不知不覺中，我的演講內(nèi)容結(jié)束了。這時候，輪到外教提問了。我走下舞臺，從一堆紙條里面任意抽了兩張，分別是banana和boy，我仔細(xì)看了一眼便作了回答。OK,我順利過關(guān)了，心情頓時輕松了不少。

　　接下來，開始聽其他選手演講。

　　我本以為這次參加演講的選手實力都很強，沒想到幾乎個個都緊張的不得了，影響了各自的實力發(fā)揮。這讓我懸著的心稍稍放了下來。

　　到了宣布結(jié)果的時候了，我緊張又認(rèn)真的聽著。哦！我的總分是94分，竟然順利的進入了前三名，獲得三等獎！不光有獎學(xué)金，還有證書以及一套迪士尼學(xué)習(xí)用品�？磥�，我的努力沒有白費，如愿以償?shù)膶崿F(xiàn)了我得獎的愿望。

　　但是，我不能驕傲，不能滿足這小小的成績。今后我要再接再厲，多聽多練，爭取在英語口語方面更上一層樓，在以后的比賽中得到更好的成績。

　　The game was scheduled to start at start at eight o’clock on Friday night. Long before that, people began to arrive at the gymnasium.

　　By seven-thirty the seats were almost filled. The school band was there; they wore yellow and black uniforms. They started to play at about a quarter to eight. Everybody stood up, and the people sang. The game was about to start. Two teams ran out to the floor. The referee blew his whistle, and the game started. A basketball game is divided into two halves, and each half is divided into two quarters.

　　There is a rest period between the halves. During the first five minutes of the second half, the score was tied. From then on, the game was very exciting. First one team made a basket, then the other. The people cheered, and everybody was wondering which team was going to win.

And the junk food may increase the risk of disease and other kinds of health problems. We should pay closer attention to our health. Instead of having junk food, eat more fruits and vegetables which contain more vitamins.

　　On the wholedoes harm to our health. So, get rid of the bad eating habits to stay healthy.

　　2. To introduce my favourite sport

　　I am an active girl, and I like playing sports very much. My favourite sport is swimming. Today my topic is To introduce my favourite sport. When I am swimming in the pool, I am very happy. I look like a lovely fish in the pond. I enjoy swimming, because swimming can make me strong and healthy. It can also bring me a lot of happiness.

　　I swim three times a week. Most often I swim in my school. I feel very happy when I swim in school with my friends. I often go to swim with my good friend Lily. She likes swimming,too. And she is very good at it. She always swims better than me. Sometimes I swim in the swimming club near my home during summer holidays. Swimming is not so hard as some people imagine. But many young people dream to become big stars like Sun Yang, which is difficult because you should, first of all, be gifted and then have a lot of practice from early age in order to become a very good player.

　　4. An interesting thing

　　It is impossible to recall all the past, but I can assure you that my childhood is a pleasant one to me.

　　When I was in kinder garden, I was very popular with my playmates because of my naughtiness. Once I made an arrow, with which I hurt one of my playmates and received scolding from my mother afterwards.

　　When I grew up, my father and mother dare not allow me to play outside. But sometimes when we had time they would bring me to the parks, movies and went swimming.

　　Lily is my close friend who I came to know in No.2 Middle School.

　　Lily is tall and slender with white skin, long-black hair and a blue-frame glasses. She looks beautiful and graceful. She has good characters of considerate and gentle. So she is easy to get along with.
