　　上個月，希望之星昂立英語大賽報名了！我興奮不已，立刻報上名，拿到了一個名額。

　　報上名后我才知道，全市有二千多人參加這次比賽，選拔賽后只有500個晉級名額，一聽到這個消息，我馬上像泄了氣的皮球，沒有信心了。那天晚上，輪到我上場了，我從容地走上臺，勉強把稿子背了一遍，下臺后才發(fā)現(xiàn)嘴里竟還含著口香糖呢！沒想到公布成績時我竟然也晉級了！真讓我又驚訝又高興！

　　復賽時，我的分數(shù)不是很高，但還是順利晉級。這下我忽然擔心起來，生怕決賽時被刷下來了。回家后，我又把稿子重新修改了一遍，把每個單詞、每個句子都反復朗讀，做到精確無誤，還用心設計了每一個動作。我信心滿滿地走上臺，一開口，評委的臉上就露出了笑容，我流暢地做著自我介紹、演講、才藝展示。我們五個人都講完了，評委進行了認真的.點評，最后公布成績——— 我取得了我們組的最高分！這一次又順利晉級了！我高興得心花怒放，合不攏嘴。媽媽也高興地抱著我親了又親。

　　這次比賽意義非凡，我一生也忘不了，因為我從這次比賽中懂得了成功只留給那些準備充分的人！
