　　Perseverance Of all the advantageous characteristics to have, I think that perseverance plays the greatest role in one’s success. Perseverance offers no guarantees either, but I believe that this trait offers one more opportunity to succeed.

　　There are several reasons why perseverance often leads to success. First of all, a man who has perseverance does not give up after a failure. He tries again and can, therefore, learn from his mistakes. Second, a persistent person is usually a hard worker, and hard work is an important ingredient in success. Last, with perseverance comes a certain amount of confidence — the confidence that one will eventually succeed.

　　For all of these reasons, I believe that perseverance is the most important characteristic to have. It is easily combined with other traits such as diligence and confidence to increase the chances of success. However, without perseverance, one’s success may be more dependent on luck than anything else.

　　考研作文的最主要的特點就是以議論為主。其實，考試作文是最容易寫的一種作文形式（這不包括英語專業(yè)考試的作文），它不要求寫得很有文采，它最追求的就是要寫得脈絡(luò)清晰，富有條理。考試作文的指針就是：取悅閱卷者，充分考慮閱卷者的心理。為了達到這個目的。建議考研作文采取格式作文的形式

　　第一步，就是要采取四段式來寫作文，第一段闡明主旨，二、三段分別敘述，最后一段再進行總結(jié)。每一段的起始句很重要，建議第一段的起始句采取長句的形式，而后面的段落的起始句用一些特定的顯示層次的詞和詞組來修飾也很重要。如“first,second,third""firstof all ,secondly,in the final analysis"等等，這樣能使段與段之間的聯(lián)系更加緊密。對于進行詳細闡述的二、三段，建議每一段舉上一兩個實例，以避免給閱卷者言之無物的印象。另外，二三段的每一段的結(jié)尾應(yīng)該對該段的中心思想再進行一個簡要的概括，分別用一個句子即可，這樣做的好處就是使閱卷者對你文章的`條理性有一個更深刻的認識。最后一段照應(yīng)第一段，再進行一個大意上的概括，當(dāng)然，應(yīng)該用另外一種語句，并在中心思想的基礎(chǔ)上做一定的拓展。

WTO pursues arelatively equal and free business environment for all its members, which posesa major challenge for our economy.. Such monopolous business sectors used toenjoy protections from governments of all levels as telecommunications andbanking will find themselves no longer be in a "safe box". They haveto adjust or replace their current operative and marketing strategies to copewith the "outdooors" shrewd and talented completers, or they willsuffer big losses and tough time is awaiting them. We should brace for thechallenges so as to take the initiative when competition is close at hand.
