　　幾天前，英語老師把我叫到了她的辦公室里說道：“過幾天有個英語書法比賽，你平時書寫不錯去參加吧，回去之后先把本課的課文寫一寫，練練手，下午把寫的拿過來我看一看，指導(dǎo)一下！”我鄭重地點了點頭

　　中午，我一回到家，就飛快地拿出了英語練習(xí)本認(rèn)認(rèn)真真地寫了幾遍，接著選了一張寫的最好的下午到校后交給了英語老師，英語老師細(xì)致地指導(dǎo)了我，比如豎要寫直，行筆手不要抖等，我牢牢記在了心里，接下來的兩天我按照英語老師的指導(dǎo)一遍又一遍地規(guī)范地練習(xí)，我進步得很快，我在心里暗暗地想：有付出一定會有收獲！只要努力這次比賽我一定能得一等獎。

　　轉(zhuǎn)眼間到了英語書法比賽的.日子，我快速向比賽地點跑去，到了地方，老師一發(fā)下試題，我就不由緊張起來，要書寫的內(nèi)容很多，(有十個單詞，和很長一段話）可又有什么辦法呢？我只能耐下性子來好好寫，剛剛寫了一個開頭，我就開始手心出汗，又往下寫了還不到一半，我已經(jīng)全身大汗淋漓，我急得像熱鍋上的螞蟻團團轉(zhuǎn)，心想：這樣緊張下去，比賽肯定無法取得一個好成績，不行，我得調(diào)整情緒，不能太緊張了。于是我連著深呼吸了幾下，盡量把字寫得不那么歪歪扭扭，眼看快收卷了，我硬著頭皮把考題寫完交了上去。交上去后，我想：這次可算是寫砸鍋了，想拿一等獎是不可能了！不一會兒老師們便改完了試卷，評出了一、二等獎，開始發(fā)獎狀了，老師先念了二等獎的人，但沒有我的名字，一種恐懼迅速蔓延了我的全身，我是不是因為寫得太爛而沒有獲獎？我總不能得一等獎吧？我越想越害怕，這時老師念到了獲一等獎的同學(xué)，竟然念到了我！我萬萬沒想到我竟然是一等獎！我太開心了。

　　我知道我的書寫還有很大的進步空間，借著這次機會，我還會更努力地把字寫好！

　　by seven-thirty the seats were almost filled. the school band was there; they wore yellow and black uniforms. they started to play at about a quarter to eight. everybody stood up, and the people sang. the game was about to start. two teams ran out to the floor. the referee blew his whistle, and the game started. a basketball game is divided into two halves, and each half is divided into two quarters. there is a rest period between the halves. during the first five minutes of the second half, the score was tied. from then on, the game was very exciting. first one team made a basket, then the other. the people cheered, and everybody was wondering which team was going to win.

　　the ball hit the rim of the basket and seemed to hang there for a moment, and then it fell through the basket. the whistle blew and the game was over. home team won, 70 to 68.
