However, one person gives up looking for water because he digs even three holes but still cannot find any water, while the other one insists on digging one hole and finally receives an abundance of water.

　　This picture tells us one principle which is a famous proverb called “Success belongs to the persevering”. It is obvious that the chance of finding water is fair enough to the two men. Nevertheless, the reason leading to the completely different consequences is only their different attitudes. As students, we should not doubt that the God will favor one special group and feel upset and hopeless. To be frank, our society is realistic and it provides everyone with same opportunities. We need to seize the opportunities, correct our attitudes and be down-to-earth persons. I firmly believe that we can achieve our goals by persevering painstaking efforts.
