　　A Foreign English Teacher

　　Our school, Shiyan Middle School in Fuling, was founded only four years ago. It is rather a new school, but now it is getting well-known for its teahing. We have a foreign English teacher, named Hans Barthel. He is the only foreign English teacher in all the schools in our city.

　　Hans is a tall man with blue eyes. He comes from Munich , in Germany. That is to say, German is his native language and yet he masters several foreign languages, including English. He teaches us spoken English. I still remember the first time he asked me to answer a very easy question, but I was too nervous to answer it, standing dumbfounded. He smiled, encouraged me and let me sit down. From then on, I made up my mind to study English harder.

　　One evening I plucked up my courage to visit Hans. When I rang the doorbell, he came out and let me in. At first I was a bit nervous when talking with him. To make me feel easy he spoke very slowly, and I could understand quite well. I was so glad that I felt quite at home. Now, I always go to his room on Saturdays. We talk a lot and watch TV together. With his help, my spoken English greatly improved.

　　Hans is learning Chinese all by himself. He can speak some Chinese now. He can talk with our Chinese teachers. If he doesn＇t know how to say a certain thing in Chinese, he will ask us to teach him till he can say it correctly.

　　On Christmas I sent him a gift, which he accepted. He spent that evening merrily with us Chinese students and didn＇t feel lonely at all.

　　This is Hans, a kind man and a good English teacher.

　　曹老師長得十分瀟灑：小小的`眼睛高高的鼻子，一張能把英語說得很流利的嘴，搏得了很多同學(xué)的羨慕。曹老師個(gè)子高高的，風(fēng)度翩翩又很休閑。

　　曹老師教課十分認(rèn)真：就說那26個(gè)字母吧，mrcao就叫了一個(gè)多星期。本來我以為能默對呢，小菜一疊，出唿我的意料的是我竟然錯(cuò)了4個(gè)。這對我這個(gè)2級劍橋英語的同學(xué)來說真是一個(gè)重大的打擊。但讓我感到慰藉的是我們班沒有一個(gè)同學(xué)默寫全對。所以我們曹老師才讓我們反復(fù)抄默，幫我們記憶，還教我們音標(biāo)，讓我們學(xué)會(huì)了不用老師教就會(huì)念新單詞的發(fā)音。

　　曹老師真是眼小聚光。我前幾次的英語作業(yè)差不多只有一次全對。每次都是一些細(xì)節(jié)上的小錯(cuò)誤。但是，沒有逃出英語老師的“火眼金睛”。但英語老師也有生氣的時(shí)候，就仿佛是一只老虎一般。

　　英語本是一門比較枯燥的課程，許多人都不愛上，可是，我們班的同學(xué)都愛上英語課，這時(shí)因?yàn)镸iss Zhuang把英語課上得生動(dòng)活潑，妙趣橫生。她講課時(shí)，語言風(fēng)趣幽默，不是還會(huì)做出一些夸張的表情和動(dòng)作，真是有聲有色，把同學(xué)們都吸引住了。記得那一次，Miss Zhuang考我們“廁所”的英語怎么說，那還不容易！同學(xué)們呢異口同聲嚷著：“WC！”這時(shí)Miss Zhuang瞪大眼睛，張大嘴巴，吐出了舌頭，做出一副驚訝的'樣子，說：“什么？WC只是廁所的標(biāo)記，它的單詞是‘toilet’！”說完轉(zhuǎn)過身，用鮮紅的粉筆，把單詞寫在了黑板上，就這樣，同學(xué)們在笑聲中學(xué)會(huì)了這個(gè)單詞。

　　為了讓我們更好更快的學(xué)習(xí)英語，Miss Zhuang還教我們一些巧計(jì)的好方法，有一次英語練習(xí)中的幾個(gè)英標(biāo)，同學(xué)們總是搞錯(cuò)，Miss Zhuang就讓我們把讀這個(gè)音的單詞記下來。為了讓我們記住這些單詞，她就把這些單詞串聯(lián)成了一句話，這句話十分搞笑，時(shí)同學(xué)們一下子就記住了這個(gè)單詞的發(fā)音。
